About Me
Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist — here to help you move confidently and get back to the things you love.
The Practitioner
Hi, I'm Emily, a Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with a passion for helping people move confidently, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love.
As a Cornish girl, I've grown up surrounded by the coastline and an active outdoor lifestyle, which sparked my passion for health, movement, and helping people stay active throughout their lives. I went on to study Physiotherapy at Plymouth University, graduating in 2021 before beginning my career within the NHS.
Through a range of rotational roles, I gained experience working across diverse clinical settings and patient populations, including stroke rehabilitation, community therapy, falls prevention, orthopaedics, post-operative rehabilitation, and frailty services. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in holistic, patient-centred care.
Today, I work as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within NHS outpatient services alongside my role within the Pelvic Health team.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me strength training, attending CrossFit classes, running, cycling, or exploring the coast path with my Labrador. My own love of sport and movement gives me a genuine understanding of the challenges and rewards of staying active — whether you're returning from injury, building strength, or working towards a new goal.
